The rower splits in half and can be leant a cross the wall in a reasonably compact fashion.

To it's not too time consuming to do that, to split or rejoin... there's no bolts to tighten or screws, it's literally lift and drop. But if you're only on it for 5 mins per day, the ratio of faff is too high. If you're on it less often than daily, and for 30 mins or more, then probably about right.

No advantage apart from having less far to step up from being on it. If you're tall or have accessibility problems, this might be for you. For me at least, it's no hassle sitting down or standing after, so no benefit.
