Concerning LotV, What issues do you feel are the most important?

I would say that the three things I have a problem with are: the economy, protoss identity, and more bandaids.

  1. The economy: the economy change is good but it still doesn't reward the expander, it merely punishes people who expand slower. I want a model where if I take a base I will have some kind of of advantage. It doesn't have to be big maybe 2 drones per patch bring in 4 minerals instead of 5. It doesn't cripple the person who doesn't expand but gives a slight edge to the expanded. Right now there is no advantage until the small patches run out. I like the fewer minerals but there needs to be a bit more done.

  2. Protoss identity: with the introduction of ravages force fields have less application against zerg, and that is where the had the most application. I would like them to look at working on the foundation of protoss.

  3. Bandaids- this sort of goes with 2. Recently the lowered the energy on recall to help protoss. I would like them to look at why does protoss have difficulty in x area and see how they can fix it with their units and core function instead of just buffing the mothership core. The Protoss shouldn't be reliant on 1 unit like they kind of are. The same is true for the ghost. I totally agree that ghost need work, but they seem to want to hear them anti-armor (particularly ultras). We will see what happens with the drone/ snipe in the next patch. The balance right now seems to be either long range ( lurker, cyclone, corrosive bile), splash ( liberator disruptor parasitic bomb) and abilities with limited use rather than good application ( corruptor ability, ghost drone). I want interesting unit interaction like ling bane vs bio and not oh well you made x unit so it cancels out y ( liberators vs Mutas, Phoenix vs Mutas) for instance, before anion pulse crystals there is interesting juking you can do with Mutas vs Phoenix. They have more range but only slightly. So you can catch them. It's cool micro. After the upgrade they completely outclass the Mutas. So even semi-good control is enough to smash muta play.

Typing from my phone so hopefully it comes across clear.
