Concerns for Player Retention when Half Stamina Ends...

I don't understand how people are worried about this. Even hardcore players have trouble running the game enough each day to keep up with stamina potions right now. Casual players will have plenty of stamina to continue farming at their same pace even when the quests cost twice as much stamina. The only ones this will affect is the hardcore players, so I don't see this having much of an impact on player retention since they are a minority.

Compared to other gachas I've played, this one is definitely on the generous side in terms of stamina costs vs how much stamina is given in a day (480 natural regen + 100 exploration (assuming 2 runs) + 500 daily missions + 200 daily shop + 100 give friend support + ~80 receive friend support). Even if quests cost 20 stamina each, that's over 70 quests per day. That's a lot in the gacha world. Not to mention all the miscellaneous free potions they give out for events, which is substantial.
