I've been consistently told by friends who do live entertainment that Saturday shows are always the best vibe. On Fridays, the crowd is tired from a long work week/day and probably had to scramble in the afternoon to get out of work, get dinner, get to the show and get in their seat. They haven't always properly decompressed from their workday either so they're still winding down the stress.

On Saturdays, the crowd is much more relaxed, and ready to enjoy a show, and the artist finds it easier to play off that vibe and give them a great show.

That said, Elton and his band are consummate professionals and will be ready to amaze on either night.
