Concerta XL 36mg (Methylphenidate)

I hope you'll feel better soon! I think that eating habbits, sleep schedule and enough sports do a lot for your well being. Eat and drink enough at reasonable regular hours. For me taking medikinet in a similar dose just extends the feelings you describe over the whole day. I.e. the initial dose works for 10 hours and then its gone. So taking more at mid-day and therefore doubling the dose is not affecting the effect in itself, it just extends the initial effect. In addition the whole "getting used to it, develop healthy habbits around it because your ADHD is less present" takes time, imho. My pharmacy told me that it may well take 2 month or more getting used to it and that a dose in the morning (with food!) And a dose mid-day (again with food) is best practice in their experience. In addition, paranoia, doubts on your symptoms and an initial up and down seem very familiar to me. Again, just my experience with it and some comments from the pharmacy. They were pretty relaxed about the side effects.... nothing unusual or unexpected. Maybe someone may point out how this getting used to it works? ... I'm into the 4th week and it's beginning to feel "normal"... the initial "yeah, that's great, huge difference" is gone. But that's how it should be?
