I achieve the same thing... but took days in the golem with elem. and i still make mistakes like any player that plays elem. Is almost impossible do a perfect rotation on a raid scenario.

On the other side took me less than a hour to optimize condi ranger rotation because there is no camera tricks, there is no major bugs on skills, i don't need to be in a 175-225 range to get the skill to do alot more dame and i don't need to put the aoe circle in a perfect angle to get 13+ hits... and most of dps class are easy. Even engi is alot easier than elem.

Elem. have bugs since the begin of the game, that's why they have been top dps since then. When most people did 4 warrior 1 mesmer cof 1... i was using fgs and doing the most dificult boss at the time in a cheesy way (Dwayna arah p4).

Also forget benchmarks about potential dps, because 90%+ of the elem. in gw2 are "bad" eles, not their fault, the class is full of "exploits" and i understand that most people don't want to spend all of their free time in the golem learning them until is automatic so in raid mechanics they can focus on mechanics...
