CONFIRMED: Tokyo Olympics postponed until 2021

See that's the problem with many people on this sub, they live in Japan but don't really communicate with Japanese, however still assume they know what Japanese people are thinking and what their attitudes to this virus are. These comments that Japanese think there special, immune etc. are false and kind of ridiculous.

All of the locals I've spoken to recently, including family members and colleagues, are taking this crisis very seriously, especially those living with elderly relatives. They are taking precautions but life has to go on. This virus is here to stay.

On your point above, these "stupid people" would still not listen and stay home even if tested positive. And for companies not allowing their employees to stay home, what happens when these individuals have the flu or another illness, surely the face the same problem.
