Productivity growth is adjusted using a different inflationary metric than wage growth

That's not how productivity works...

That's fine in a vacuum, but if you want to compare the two, you must use the same inflationary metric for both, otherwise you're not comparing the same thing.

That's not what you provided. You just provided another metric for determining inflation (that no one uses except the heritage foundation). Productivity growth doesn't depend on inflation. Because it's productivity.

but you'd have to adjust productivity using CPI as well, which would result in lower productivity,

You're literally making up the stupidest shit ever that makes no sense wehatsoever...

which will close the gap in exactly the same way and by exactly the same amount, it will just adjust both lower instead of higher.

Even the graph you provided (which doesn't adjust productivity in the made up fashion you just described) still showed a divergence in productivity and income. As in providing my point. Funny how you won't even respond to this

If you cannot understand this, then you are not intellectually capable of holding any sort of opinion about anything having to do with economics whatsoever - and, likely, anything involving statistics.

LOL "if you can't understand this thing I just made up then your stupid"
