Congrats Denver, here were some Pats predictions for you guys

If I may intrude here, those reactions and predictions really aren't all that different from other fans when their team loses. I think it gets a little exaggerated since our sub reddit is quite large compared to others.

As for this years games, think about the Broncos losses to the Ravens in the divisional and to us the year after in the regular season. Did you guys really walk away from those games confident the better team won? Personally I thought the 2 games this year were too close to say one way or the other, not to mention some odd circumstances during the games. I mean, let's say the Pats won 23-20 in OT 2 weeks ago, you could make the argument the better team lost to some flukey 4th and 10 bomb and silly backwards pass fumble.

Comparatively, I don't think any realistic Pats fan thought we had a chance in the AFCCG 2 years ago. Even with Gronk the chances were slim. That was pretty similar to your guys' season last year. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

But at the end of the day, it wasn't about who was better, but rather who deserved it more. Pats had a cupcake schedule and bungled the #1 seed away in head scratching fashion. Everyone talks about the Miami game, but that Eagles game was much, much worse. Broncos meanwhile, played the last 2 games like they actually gave a shit.

Before I leave you guys to your celebration, it's worth noting the home team won every game between us in the Manning/Broncos era. It'll be interesting to see when that trend finally breaks. We play @Denver next year, and the year after that as well. With our brutal schedule next year, likely @Denver in the playoffs as well.
