It's a feature not a bug. The federal government has the capability to completely stop illegal immigrants from being employed. I don't want to hear none of that bullshit about how they use stolen documents, guess what the government is perfectly able to track down every one of them and where they're employed.

Do you know what is it like to have to be uprooted from your life under threat of extortion and kidnapping at 10 years old? To leave all your friends and family and all the people you've ever known, to move thousands of miles to a whole new place where you are not welcome. To know your uncle died and not being able to say your final goodbye. To wish you would have seen him one last time. To hear one of his stupid jokes one last time. To grow up keeping your head down so that you won't bring attention to yourself or your family. To have to drop your language and have to learn a whole new language in order to survive? To be cussed at while pumping gas simply for the color of your skin, To be cussed at because someone heard you speaking Spanish? To have an irrational fear of white people and get close to having a panic attack when interacting with them. To consider them better than you are. To grow up poor and staying poor because it seems that selling drugs or other illegal activities is the only way to make money and yet you refuse to do any of that.

You like blueberries? My dad works 90 hours a week for 4 or 5 months to get those blueberries onto your table at an affordable price. That's exploitation period. You eat tomatoes? Cabbage? Lettuce? Do you eat beef? Chicken? Pork? Illegal immigrants are exploited under every industry in this country. They are exploited period. Why is it so difficult to open up a path to citizenship to those who've been here for many years? Is it perhaps because that would give them an opportunity to find a better job, and we can't have none of that, they need to stay where they are at to keep the machine running.
