I'm not a fan of pro ladder either, but apparently that's how CDPR wants it. I remember being really against the idea after reading Rafal's comment about it.

There is also one thing that I would like to strongly disagree about - a lot of players are capable on being at the top but if you cannot make that time commitment of you are 0,5% worse than another player we want the player that made the sacrifice and had the skill and a little bit of luck to be at the top. We already have players that regularly were number 1 on the ranked ladder - we want them to come to the tournaments. This program is made for the few that are already pro or will embark to truly become one, not for very skilled players that for whatever reason cannot make the commitment toward being a pro gwent player.
