Congress is voting on a bill that would sell off federal lands in Utah. Please call your representative and oppose this!

Here's an example email I have been sending to state reps:
Mr Stewart, As I am sure you know, here in Utah, we value our public lands and our national forests. It is absolutely unacceptable to sell off these national treasures in order to reduce the federal budget deficit, especially at a time when congress is looking to front several billion dollars for a foolish border wall that will provide us with no income, and no security. I also want to show you a recent poll conducted that shows a full 72% of voters (democrat, republican, and independent) say that selling off federal lands to reduce the budget deficit is a motivating factor for them to vote against a politician. https://www.coloradocollege.edu/dotAsset/952beeaf-16a1-43ce-b53e-54eafc3a9a23.pdf I can assure you that you will invoke the wrath of your constituents if you vote for HR-621 proposed by Jason Chaffetz. A vote for this shows your lack of concern for the environment, and that you do not share the values that most Utah residents share. Please carefully consider your vote on HR-621. If I see that you voted for this, then I will do everything I can to see you voted out of office.
