Congressmen to NASA: Stop Wasting Money on Global Warming Research

Simple rational logic. Here's man made clouds. How do they affect the environment? We'll study that.

Which isn't simple rational logic. Man made cloud formation is different than natural cloud formation.

Separating the ones who can design an engine that can handle slight worldwide average atmospheric changes due to climate change, and those who can't

Which isn't what I said. You keep making things up because you can't seem to understand what I said.

Then find it. Then fly your plane at it.

Yes, I'll just answer a problem that has been an open research question for 20 years. That's why NASA is studying this problem.

Slight worldwide average climate changes over decades isn't going to change your optimal altitude right now.

Straw man once again. The climate needs to be studied to determine the optimal altitude. You keep confusing cause and effect.

In fact, your other variables not related to climate change, just regular day-to-day changes, are going to be changing far more. If your engine can't keep up with that, then climate change is the least of your worries for finding optimal altitude.

You do realize that jet flight is not a binary process, right? You seem incapable of understanding that climate change is about more than just degree changes in the temperature.

My analogy is perfect even for unicorn farts. Atmosphere comes in, exhaust goes out. If

Your analogy is idiotic. Vorticity in jet turbines has no similar process in internal combustion. The fact that you even believe your own garbage shows that you have no understanding of jet flight. We're not flying p52 mustangs anymore.

If you need to know the atmospheric conditions, measure them right then, right there.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. It's a dynamical system, not a static system.

You don't need to go off on a tangent of studying atmospheric changes over centuries to be able to understand how your engine works.

How something works and optimal operation are entirely different things. The world isn't binary.

Climate change alters the fundamental laws of physics? Are your fluid dynamics models invalidated by climate change?

climate change is more than just a few degrees change. The study of atmospheric science and specifically climate stability and reaction is entirely dependent on radiative forcing. Jet contrails contribute to that. The way to find out how is by studying climate change do you really not understand that?
