Connecticut mother sues Meta and Snap, alleging they contributed to suicide of 11-year-old daughter who had 'extreme addiction' to social media

the addictiveness isn't in the money, or games.

it's that at any point, they can make a post, comment, and get almost immediate feedback. likes, internet points, that is the addictive outline that all social media outlets rely on.

just why do you think people love tik tok, instagram, twitter? it's because ANYBODY, even redneck joe down in crack alley, can make a post and get those sweet sweet endorphins from the likes, comments, feedback. it's an endless supply.

you really think the addictive part is money? that's the companies incentive, not the users incentive. many people use social media without spending a dime. why are they addicted?

why are teens with no money to spend addicted?

they don't make enough ad revenue from eyeballs either, you are way off track with this.

your arrogance on this subject matter should be reevaluated.
