Connecticut Senate Takes First Step To Ending ‘Prison Gerrymandering’ | CTNewsJunkie

Ok let me rephrase my question.

-Should someone who raped or killed a person on purpose(no doubt the person did the crime) even after “serving their time”, be allowed to have ALL of their rights reinstated?

-YES, I agree with you that we should focus on rehabilitating instead of punishing. BUT I believe there are people that don’t deserve to be rehabilitated(rape, murder, treason, espionage)

  • I am only talking about rapists and other horrible crimes, not your average thug that is in and out of jail. I have an uncle who did some drugs and got caught with a bunch of it when he was younger and he served his time and that was the end of it. The prison just punished him and didn’t rehabilitate him. NOW if he raped someone and there is no doubt that he committed the crime( concrete evidence)then he should be put to death IMO.
