Don't know. Have not been following this story to deeply, just because I find it too upsetting that the people who did partake in his parties will never be punished.

This is the exact reason people think it's an assassination. So many people on the hook for crimes which would end with life in prison, risking being caught up in a hit is nothing on top of that. But, that's all it is. Many people with means and motive have benefitted greatly from Epsteins death that it's incredibly fortunate for them even if it's not murder.

But, assuming it was murder it was a very clean hit. Hundreds of people could have been behind it, and no evidence pointing to anyone specifically, whoever they think is responsible is the person they most dislike..
