Considering Shifting to BS Mathematics

Yeah I know there's an overlap. Pero kasi sa experience ko di ako satisfied ng treament nila sa math part ng CS (e.g. PDEs ODEs, linear algebra, numerical methods, discrete math, machine learning, among others). Paraang dinaanan lang and I can't even read research papers well kasi ang hina ng mathematical maturity ko as a result. Hindi siya rigorous.

I also saw it more of a software eng'g/dev (how memory is stored/diff kinds of memory, database management, networks, etc.) course than a theory-centric course. Not saying I hate those things that I learned, kaso I chose CS kasi may 'math' daw, not because of programming. And I mentioned I hated CS, in large part, because I came in as a blank slate, with no prior developed interest. Kaso it was met with too many traumatizing classes with inconsiderate profs who have mediocre/lazy pedadogy and enjoy weeding out the 'unworthy ones'. I tried to stay for a few years, pero the time never came when I would do any CS related stuff when it isn't required.
