Conspiracy fact: Back in '07 Gen. Wesley Clark told us which countries would be invaded... and now there's no denying

Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Iran. Based on what he was saying, there is a end of 2006-2007 by time this plan was supposed to happen.

  • Iraq - Happened.
  • Syria - Yeah, I remember around Dec of 2003 all the MSM pushing for a war in Syria. That never took root. I guess maybe we were just too war wary already by that point, or the whole "Clearly Iraq didn't have WMDS because THEY WERE ACTUALLY IN SYRIA!!!! DUN DUN DUN!!!! made the attempt at a Syrian war too blatant/obvious for it to happen.
  • Lebanon - The US didn't invade, but I'd forgotten about the 2006 Lebanon War, and our reaction to that.
  • Libya - It seemed odd too me how the Disarmament of Libya came out of no where, but I figured I was young and just didn't notice the lead-up. I wonder if the Bush admin expected Gadaffi to put up a fight they could use for justification of an invasion instead of him actually agreeing to give up his weapons. It does look a bit text book about how we invaded Iraq, only Gadaffi probably gave in quickly after seeing what happened to Iraq instead of fighting.
  • Somalia - I don't recall any conflict here beyond occasional response to pirate activity. Due to the economic headaches of the piracy from there I can see why the powers at be would have loved to use the War on Terror to neuter that country.
  • Sudan - There was some push for involvement in Sudan due to its involvement with Darfur. I don't know if this is a case of the Army pushing the conflict, or if it was the Army using a desire to prevent another genocide for a chance to enter a conflict that had support.
  • Iran - Knew what was going on and countered it well enough.
