Conte: Chelsea 'must change many players'

I felt like Conte has wanted to be sacked and get paid off for the entire season.

His treatment of Costa initially and now Willian is really puzzling for a guy that sees Chelsea as a long term rebuild, because both of those players win you games and are proven champions.

He shits on them, doesn't play them and devalues their worth in the transfer market which hurts ultimately the club, because they can't get premium prices for players everyone knows Conte wants rid of.

Perhaps the strangest thing is Chelsea seem trigger shy on firing him, which reminds me of how long they pondered firing Jose, but Conte for me has grossly underperformed and been negligent the entire season.

A much bigger issue than Conte is the Chelsea transfer process, aside from Kante who is outstanding they seem to have identified world class talent, secured it, then sold that prosperity on to indirect and eventually direct rivals.

The scouting seems second to none but the adoption and retention seems entirely broken.

The first team Chelsea could have had to support Eden has to be close to a world 11.
