Conversation Thread: Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson. Who is the better quarterback?

Forgot, this is reddit where you need to phrase everything like a diplomat or people fly off the deep end, making any definitive statement on here always leads to complaints. Always need to use “I think, probably, arguably” or people like you come out mad.

I think Watson would probably and arguably be an MVP candidate on the Ravens team that is better than his own. He would probably be an MVP candidate on the team with a great run game (that he himself would aid in as he would be used as a runner more), better line, better tight ends, better scheme, and better coaching.

Is that better?

It’s a joke to think QBs can’t play good on other teams. It makes no sense to believe that.

At this point, Mahomes would play good on the Ravens team and Jackson would still be good on the Chiefs.

It’s like nobody can think that these guys reach a point where they can thrive outside of what they know.

It’s like nobody can use thee imagination that maybe in this hypothetical, the scheme/playbook would be adjusted to that new player.
