Coopers brewery gay marriage back-down a 'craven capitulation': MP Andrew Hastie

Even at face value its confusing. And so fucking tiring.

I used to give Coopers preference for reasons of being Australian and independent and so on. Bottle carbonated. Whatever. That choice was fine.

As a gay bloke its in my most obvious and basic self interest not to give money to companies funding the inexplicably still ongoing battle to interfere my private and totally fucking uninteresting adult life. The idea of doing otherwise is unpleasant. I wouldn't buy a sofa from a skinhead and I won't buy beer from a company that thinks its their right to deny me mine. The sex of my partner makes me a leftist and a political idealist apparently and according to this quote, an oppressor? Go fuck yourself Hastie. Don't fucking lecture people on how your freedom to deny others basic rights is under attack. The only reason I have any at all is because other people find the notion of second class citizens offensive. If the teacher stops you taking other kids' lunch money, that doesn't make you oppressed. You're just a piece of shit bully who didn't even get punished.

The same goes for the whole fucking rag-tag team of angry old men behind him. This discussion doesn't need a stage. It has a stage already. Its had one for fucking decades and gay people only got to start speaking on it in the late 90s. Everyone is tired of having to look at it. There's other shit to be getting on with right now. Every new argument I hear is fucking years old and the real thing they're protesting here is that they don't want to dismantle the stage now that there's no use for the fucking thing anymore. Rabble rabble!
