COPE: La Liga players striking over the league’s decision to play matches in the United States is becoming an increasingly likely reality

What are you talking about dude? Seriously, have you followed sports for the last couple of decades? Have you seen what has happened to the EPL in the last 20 years? Do you understand what outside support and viewership means for the country/league?

1) You play a Barcelona game in the US and millions of people will now watch a HIGH LEVEL of play league game instead of some bullshit summer game where B teams play

2) What are you talking about 'screwed the local fans'. Local fans miss out on 1 fucking game but will see their football system improve over time due to coverage in other parts of the world

3) Teams are businesses. Leagues are fucking businesses. Their goal is to grow the sport which grows their money.

I'm not saying if it's right or wrong, the league is doing this for business reasons which will positively affect their country and local fans in the long term. Don't be one of those people who don't want others to enjoy something just because you were 'first'.
