It’s not the same thing as white Americans oppressing black people, but as an American I can say that we love to think that the rest of the world operates the same way and so of course the jews (a lot of which are white but not all, but of course they likely don’t know this because they don’t even know there are different jewish ethnicities) are the bad guys entirely and the Palestinians are the victims entirely. Instead of it being a trade off situation where people take turns blowing each other up for various reasons. Oh and if you even try to mention that it’s not the same as white european colonialism they don’t get it, because it’s too different from what they know. I hate to see my own side hate me and it’s just shitty.
