That is literally exactly what happened.

So the second cop car was protesters. The rest was opportunists. The clothing store especially had a large group of protesters yelling at the looters to stop.

The liquor store was busted open by the same guy I saw by the first cop car throwing signs and stuff in the street before the cop car caught fire, but when protesters ran past and saw it open they ran in. TBF, no one ran in deep. The liquor bottles were literally right on the other side of the glass so it was more opportunistic people running past and seeing how close they were.

The rest just kind of devolved into who knows what. I don't at least.
