Cops of Reddit, what's the funniest change in (already perfectly legal) behaviour people do in front of you when they realise you're there?

I’m not a cop, but I’ll share it anyway. Plus it was illegal what I was doing, but whatever I’ll share it all the same.

I was driving a car in Cape Cod many years ago, had a friend in the car who dealt weed and had thrown a pound in a backpack in my trunk as we were on our way to a house we were staying at with some friends. It was my car and I was driving down one of the main strips with all the souvenir stores etc, and suddenly there was a cop behind me, looking like he wanted me to pull over. I was super paranoid and suddenly thought if I casually pull into a spot on the street and just park and get out like I was already going to do that and just walk down the street, he can’t pull me over. So I did that, got out, locked the car, and just told my friend to walk and act like we were going to a store down the street or whatever. The cop followed slowly for a few blocks staring at us and we didn’t look at him. We just acted like we were normal which we clearly weren’t but I think he got flustered because he just sped off. I felt like an accidental genius and it was stupid but it worked.

PS: all you Cops are cool, please don’t Reddarrest me
