Man, if it turns out he is in-fact guilty of everything we've heard, this sure has escalated quickly:

Trump: "The only way I can..."

1   - "... escape bankruptcy, is to take out loans from international mobsters"

2   - "... stave off collection, or leaks, is to do whatever they ask of me, no matter how gross or illegal"

3   - "... save my own tail, is to rat people out to the feds"

4   - "... ensure the safety of me and my family is to enter and remain in the public spot light"

5   - "... even begin to pay off those loans, is to sign a lucrative reality tv deal, and hide in plain sight"

6   - "... stave off collection, or leaks, is to keep doing whatever they ask of me, no matter how illegal"

7   - "... save my own tail this time, is to go for broke, take the presidency, and turn the dogs on somebody else"

8   - "... become president, is to cheat, and work with the governments those mobsters have ties to, and take whichever VP they provide me with"

9   - "... prevent treason charges, is to get loyalty pledges from anyone that can lead or influence such an investigation, and keep the country divided"

10 - "... prevent treason charges, is to fire the head of the fbi"

11 - "... prevent treason charges, is to threaten the special council"

12 - "... prevent treason charges, is to cause as much chaos as possible, until the special council can be dealt with"

13 - "... prevent treason charges, is to escalate to WW3, and disband the special council under the veil of national emergency"

14 - "... prevent treason charges, is to just fucking kill and devastate as many people as necessary until no one can do a god damned thing about it"

All because one guy, in our capitalistic system, didn't want to not be rich. edit: Theoretically speaking, of course.
