Coronavirus-19 Megathread #27 - discussion, ideas, rants, questions, thought-bubbles, memes, hoarding, videos, Centrelink issues and other essentials

So I'm trying get jobseeker as my hours have dropped drastically due to the pandemic. When I applied, I couldn't actually go through with the application because I'm not technically unemployed, and to qualify for jobseeker you need to be unemployed? I've just gone from getting 15 hours a fortnight to 5, 10 if I'm lucky. I submitted a request but centrelink hasn't gotten back to me and knowing centrelink, I have no idea if they even will.

I don't qualify for Jobseeker as I'm a casual that has only been at my place of employment for 10 months.

Has anyone been through anything similar and know what to do next? Not sure whether I should call them myself, or just put myself as unemployed or what.
