Coronavirus: 31% of U.S. renters didn't pay rent by April 5 - New York Daily News

No, the property management companies in my area sent everyone a mass generated note saying pretty much pay or get out. I've not been late on my rent once in the 4 years I've lived here.

They included a link to a news article explaining how only HUD owned properties were allowed to forgo (or be late?idk I didn't read it) as well as a link to a temp staffing place because they were 'aware of the economic impact of temporarily closing down businesses' or whatever shitheel phrase they used=/

I lost one of my jobs march 17th and my other has just gone stupid crazy. Worked 8 hours last week and got cussed out for about 1.5 hours of that by management (aka toxic asshole who yelled at everyone because he's stressed).

Getting that note from the property managers was like a slap in the face. It's honestly not this month I'm worried about. Its the next two months if things don't open back up. I have to start job hunting soon and I'm terrified. I do not think I will have the same jobs to return to.
