Should watch: Adar Poonawalla's interview with CNBC

TL;DW: They will be applying for phase 2/3 trials in India to DGCI in 48 hours. Expecting the permission in 7-14 days and then setting up hospitals and recruitment another 7-14 days. The trails are so somewhat expected to start in a month from now. They have suggested Mumbai & Pune to be the trial locations. It will take around 2 months for the this trail results and then a month in getting up licensing, etc. So we can expect some doses in December this year if all goes well though that's not sure or confirmed. They also need to cater to other GAVI countries too.

Also they will face a loss of 200 million dollars if things don't go as expected and this vaccine fails. It's safe, but the efficacy will be proven after phase 3 trials he said.
