Coronavirus Mega Thread

There’s a good article in the New York Times that details why we still aren’t out of the woods yet. Simply put, until we have mass testing, Americans won’t be able to return to some normalcy. But at the same time, we can’t keep commerce stalled forever.

So we’re probably going to have to find some kind of middle point in between staying shut inside and going back exactly as we were. Because if we do the latter, we’ll be right back to where we were. But if we do the former for too long, the economic damage will only compound.

Truth is there’s no easy answers here, because there’s no modern precedent for a situation like this. But we need to accept that this likely isn’t going to be over for quite a while.
