Coronavirus Megathread - Part 46 - Monday 17th August - When you're alone and life is making you lonely you can always go lockdown (thread)

A bit off topic, but are QLD and NSW getting a low amount of cases each day due to lack of testing?

I just don't get it. Outbreaks all over NSW, yet extremely low cases each day. They only did 10,000 tests today.

QLD had infectious people walking around the community for 8 days, yet nothing. Last I checked they are doing about 3,000 tests a day.

For a wildy infections disease that seems to be breaking out all across NSW, to get 7 cases a day when NOT in lockdown is AMAZING.

I just hope these states aren't using the "if we test less, there will be less cases" Donald Trump's strategy? If these numbers are genuine, NSW are certainly giving all of us plenty of hope.
