The governments around the world only seemed to be worried about testing people that were possibly having a cytokine storm caused by the virus and not people that had a normal immune system response to this new corona virus. By only treating the seriously deathly ill they kept the public calm, didn't waste resources on people that would recover without medical assistance, kept the deaths low by focusing on the seriously ill, etc. Basically you can imagine the Wuhan corona virus as peanut butter and the governments are only focused on treating people who are having an anaphylaxis attack verses people who had an uncomfortable but not life threatening "food intolerance/ibs" reaction to peanut butter.

The antivirals, steroids, oxygen, hydration, etc being used for this virus is most likely just aimed at calming down the cytokine storm so it stops attacking the lungs and other vital organs. Other viruses and bacteria can piggy back on this virus meaning that you can be infected with the Wuhan corona virus at the same time your body is fighting another virus or opportunistic bacterial infection. If this plays out like Spanish flu (and it has the potential) we are at the beginning bands of the hurricane. I think that's why people like bill gates are very nervous. GOD Willing it fizzles out fast by mutating into a manageable strain like the Spanish flu.
