The coronavirus is vastly under appreciated

Just because people die doesn't mean we all need to freak out. It's harsh but reality. Obviously if anything happened to me or somebody close to me (robbery, disaster, sickness, etc) it sucks. I can't worry about everything. I can take reasonable steps to prevent these things and be safe.

There's lots of things out there killing people en masse: car crashes, flu, malaria, homicides, cancer. It's shitty, it really is...but the world keeps turning.

I'm worried, but I'm not 'build a bunker and keep 100% cash and gold' worried. I don't think this will be the next GFC 2.0. But who knows?

The more we test the lower the death rate will be...this is what we are seeing happening. We don't know the true denominator, so these death rates are incredibly misleading and overstated right now.
