CORSAIR Technical Support and Questions MEGATHREAD - Week 01/29/21

I noticed today that the Corsair RGB Hub that came with my Obsidian 500d RGB case started to malfunction. Any fan that I connect to the third (number 3) header of the hub won't have its outer LED ring light up.

The way the hub works, it won't allow me to simply bypass the third header and use 4,5,6. So I'm asking if it's possible to trick the hub into thinking that something is connected to its third header so the other headers become usable.

If this isn't possible, I could contact the seller and ask to be sent a replacement hub if possible. From what I see, the hub is glued to the case with a really strong adhesive. Is there a way to take it out?
