I did an RMA my first PSU because it was making a loud grinding noise during operation.

My first RMA that I got was a refurb which also suffered from a loud grinding noise, as well as a weird thing where the PC would only turn on if the PSU switch was switched off and then on.

So, the Corsair support guy offers me the option to do an "Advanced RMA" where I would be sent a brand-new unit. I put the deposit of $150 and I received my new unit.

Plug everything in and double-check. PC won’t turn on. Triple-check the wiring. PC still won’t turn on.

Hook up the refurb PSU from my first RMA. PC again won’t turn on. It was working fine before!

So, now I have no PC because Corsair decided to send me a defective unit for the THIRD time in a row. WTF.
