The cost of living creeping up

Ohhh sorry I didn't explain. My landlord wants to sell up and evict us, nothing to do with not paying the rent. I'm just freaking out cos it's so hard to find a room at all atm just through demand.

After tax/student loans (repayment plan 2 + postgrad)/pension (10%) I take home ~1850, I was trying to save 700 a month but given that that's not even gonna keep up with property prices definitely not gonna worry as much about saving for a deposit anymore, will probably lower the pension contributions too. I just wanted to have a fighting chance of being able to retire.

I have a year of experience directly but was in a related industry before for 5 years which I won't disclose cos it's quite niche haha. Good to know that hopefully the salary will get much better in the future, I'm quite bad at asking for pay rises and things which doesn't help.
