Cost a Student Her Application to AIM

I’m trying to reply to each comment because there is a lot to this story and my details are, admittedly, gazed at best. Yes, deadlines are meant by applicants, that’s a given. The counselor gave a verbal confirmation on Tuesday. The deadline was on Saturday at midnight. The GC knew there was a deadline. “People forget things in passing” yes we’re all guilty of that, but god forbid this woman take a note, the one thing that is driven into our skulls as high schoolers. You mean to tell me, that nowhere on her cluttered desk or drawers full of random paper scraps and stacks of paper clips, there wasn’t a single sucky note and a pen that just maybe she could jot down “email (x) her transcript. She obviously had it on had since she was able to print off a hard copy literally at the time of the request, and then forget about emailing? If we forget information in highschool, our grades reflect it, if our administrators forget important information apparently nothing happens.
