This is the really shitty truth behind this. We had the same policy at an Ice Arena I used to work out and actually went out of our way to get the city to give us the exception since it had become such an issue and because it’s harder for public buildings to enforce stuff like this than private businesses. Still had this one cunt who always brought in her little ankle biter that barked at everyone and she would just let shit and piss all over the arena. Finally got tired of it one night. Since I was the one always cleaning up after it and called her out on it and asked her to leave and she about had a aneurism she got so offended. Called my boss and chewed her out. Then called the city when my boss stood behind me. Who ever was working at the city that day decided to say fuck the arenas policy. We don’t want this lady to sue. So she got to continue bringing the little fucker in and we couldn’t do shit. Despite having a legal exemption to the companion dog policy.
