I could have accidentally killed someone today

Even experienced climbers occasionally knock rocks down, and sometimes they kill/injure people. It's not something you can 100% control and it's part of the danger of climbing.

True, but realistically (and understandably) newer climbers do it a lot more (given the same conditions).

Not pointing fingers, just saying it's part of the equation, and something folk teaching other folk should advise and monitor, and choose climbs/rappels accordingly... we were all there once!

eg I taught climbing for decades, and there's many easy climbs I'd never take a novice on, they'll kill me! They just haven't got climb/rap movement and rock-assessment down yet...
