Could I make more doing this than at my shit job?

Yea I realized I sound like a douche and shouldn't judge people I don't know based on their age. I know a lot of people go back to school or need the flexibility for some other reason, or have enough savings that they don't need to make that much, but I get the feeling that most people do this as a side gig.

It seems like a decent job for a student especially since you can study in your downtime, but it's kind of stressful to rely on as your only source of income. Maybe I'm doing it wrong and I could make a lot more but I feel like it's not worth it to take offers less than $8 no mater the $/mile because a lot of the time you have to spend time waiting at the restaurant, or dropping the food off, or waiting for another offer. So if you take a $6 offer you might only be able to do 2 in an hour, after gas and depreciation that's probably less than minimum wage.

And maybe it's just because I'm still a pretty new driver, but I feel like people don't realize how much of a risk you take every time you get behind the wheel. Some of the roads here are really narrow with parked cars and 2 way traffic and I feel like I'm gonna knock my mirror off eventually, and some people on the highway drive like they're on fentanyl or something drifting into the other lanes.

I'm ranting again sorry. But yea give it a shot just stay out of my area lol
