He is mana starved in the sense that he needs constant healing or else he's go oom incredibly fast. That is a pretty big burden for any healer that isn't morales or malufrion, and even then they have other targets that they need to take care out. Guldan is really fun and power hero right now. A veeery dominant force in the meta are so many crazy and ridiculous buffs aimed and in attempt to get his hotslogs winrate above 45% percent. BUT, I reeeally wish that they would have just fixed his drain life instead of giving him such crazy and insane damage numbers! That has ALways been the main, and real issue with his kit. Not the mana costs, cd's or damage, all of that stuff was comPLEtely fine one day one. The main issue that he had/ still has in solo queue. Is that drain hope is completely and extremely unreliable/ doesn't heal for enough. It's short range, short leash, rooted in place, channeled ability that leaves him SO vulnerable that he can never realistically use it to get his health and mana back in the middle of combat. Something like Zuljin's Indian dance heal, would be SOooo much better for Guldan's kit than drain life. Anyway, it would still be really cool synergy between kharazim and Guldan if he could restore Guldan's mana too, but that was just an example, and I don't appreciate you being so pedantic and focusing on that one tiny aspect sir :P
