I could really feel the emotion of failure coming from her in this scene from last week.

I conceded that if this season of DH bombed, the series was probably dead. This is my childhood show, there is no protagonist who embodies my hopes and fears so much as the Doctor- and I have had my faith renewed.

Really solid stuff- she's like eccleston, instead of constantly being played as the secret soldier, vengeful God, or eccentric madman- she's somber, a veteran who's seen to much to even midly tolerate people espousing awful things they don't understand. Plus they haven't been bending over backwards to add some huge timelord tapestry canon, I feel like I'm watchin Tennant again, replying 4 words of inceedibly vague dialogue that speaks volumes about her history.
