Hows this?

I prioritized RAM by going high speed, low CAS, and got two sticks of 8GB so you can runa total of 16 Gigs in dual channel. A must have for production and editing.

The SSD is another must have, its not huge but its big enough to accomplish pretty much anything you could throw at it. This will be where you put your OS and software/files with heavy load times.

Graphics card is pretty much the industry standard at this budget. The board features SLI so if you end up wanting/needing more juice you can add a second 970 down the road and run two 970s in SLI.

I went I7 since the hyperthreading will come in handy for what you are doing. The cpu comes with a great stock cooler but if you decide to overclock it down the road I would recommend getting an aftermarket cooler.

You have a TB mechanical drive to throw all your other crap on including games with low load times, movies, music, and etc.

I didnt include an OS or a wireless network adapter but those can be added pretty easily. The case is pretty standard and very popular because its modest and performs well. Its somewhat expensive and can certainly be substituted if you want.

Let me know what modifications you need and I can probably work with them. A consideration I had was going with a cheaper mobo and running a R9 290x instead, however I think this setup is a little more stable.
