Could you theory be Socially Conservative and Marxist at the same time what would the Ideology be called

I have been thinking I am Socially Conservative and Marxist I oppose open immigration and oppose the notion of extreme wealth

I don't mean to be overly glib, but you sound like a Calvinist.

More seriously, perhaps the two aren't directly related.

For example, there are are always 'alpha' or overtly ambitious individuals driven toward power.

Marxism, an intellectual political approach, was overridden by strongmen determined to wield power.

Capitalism, with the ’free play' pen of financial markets allows overtly driven individuals seeking world dominance to achieve power without necessarily holding the reigns of government, yet funneling their desire for wealth into increasing the wealth of the nation.

In a way capitalism by design decouples the need to hold power in government and the ambition of individuals who seek power through wealth.

There is heated debate of course over Citizens United, the revolving door of washington lobbyist and corporate interests, and there are wide avenues for legislation to temper capitalism's nascent ability to subsume the powerless.

I would be curious as to what things you lean toward that are "socially conservative" and of these things, what are the social and economic benefits that attract you to them?
