I guess what happened was they had another couple in their room and they probably wouldn't let anything happen. So they improvised in a drunken fashion. But c'mon. Go out to your car or something even. Not right in a stairwell where people are about to walk down to get breakfast.

And yeah in regards to the ambulance, in hindsight I probably shouldn't have just asked and done it. But it would have been a rather large bill for her to pay and she said she didn't want me to call one. So I honoured that. Knowing she was with her friends too made me less worried about that since they could theoretically bring her to the hospital if they deemed it a good idea.
