Counter protest to week-long anti-abortion conference

It's a medical center. Patients have the right to privacy and access to medical treatment. The medical center itself does not want counter-protesting, this adds fuel to a volitile situation. In this case, you are effectively disrespecting and disrupting the request of the center, patients and volunteers. You are now focusing directly on the protestors aginst the request of the people you wish to protect.

Counter-protesting from a sociology and psychological perspective, and from one of the only personal experience(s) relevant to a conversation on Reddit in a month... does not defuse a situation. You are stoking the fire and enforcing the persecution complex of the group. They will now feel the need to escalate the issue in defense as well as offensively.
