Counterargument for "you should not read the old testament before you read the new testament"

Romans didn't retcon shit. Genesis very clearly sets out the explanation why humanity is living in an imperfect world rather than the perfect one we were supposedly given.

So then why don't most Jews believe in Original Sin? Did they misunderstand their own story for hundreds of years before Paul, a non-Jewish Roman, came along to explain it to them?

You're arguing that Christianity doesn't include the notion of original sin

Reading comprehension is obviously not your strong suit if you think I'm arguing anything even remotely close to that. I said that Genesis doesn't include the notion of Original Sin.

But I agree, you've made this a fruitless discussion. But I'm glad you could demonstrate Christian hypocrisy for everyone to see.

I'm not Christian, and I have no idea why you chose to get butthurt over this particular theological point. But whatever. Read the books in whatever order you want.
