Countries That Joined The Paris Climate Agreement [1200x770]

It's about the long term reduction of greenhouse gasses being produced by shitty factories in developing countries. China has even pledged into this and become greener, since everyone on Earth knows how bad China is when it comes to pollution. The blatant human rights abuses in China aren't what we're talking about. It's either we invest into cleaner technology and deal with working conditions later, or we do nothing about it and keep allowing global temperatures and sea levels to rise at an unnatural rate. Pick your poison, because each path is going to be rough.

What you don't understand here is that it's an investment. Somebody has to make the products that help reduce pollution, and they have to be made somewhere. It's unfortunate that some stuff is made with what's essentially slave labor, but not everything is made by them. You're implying that everything is made by sweatshop workers which is blatantly incorrect.

My shirt was made in Mexico and my pants in the United States. Close, but not quite South America and Southeast Asia.
