A couple of questions regarding the Zizek piece, and Peterson's writing in general

I think The Independent would take a big bite out of this because JP is so very famous now, and because people really do like battles of ideas. It's not abnormal for famous people to get hate, it comes with the territory. A lot of thinkers get repeatedly mischaracterized. Some ignore it, some address it. I find that Peterson goes to a middle place, where he publicly states he does not agree with it, but won't rebut at length. I don't expect him to rebut every single piece, there are too many, and most are poorly written. Zizek is a different specimen. He is a famous philosopher, and half that piece was actually a critique of liberals, in addition to its slams on Jordan Peterson in the opening.
