Court of Oryx, Archon's Forge, Escalation Protocol, Blind Well and now Seraph Towers. How is it been 5 years and Bungie still never learned their lesson regarding patrol matchmaking for these events?

I tried to make this as a post, so please forgive the poor wording. The title was that the location of the Moon and Io towers hurt the matchmaking as opposed to EDZ. EDZ is at 35%, absurdly greater than the Moon at 3% and Io at 2%. Now, it might be that everyone is doing the EDZ at the moment, but a few observations I made helped me come to the realization that the areas that the Io and Moon Towers are in negatively impact the ability to get the numbers required for event completion. Let's start of at the Moon. The Moon Seraph tower is located in an area that is unable to be directly loaded into, making it a bit of a pain to reload an instance over and over to get into a proper Seraph tower team. How could Bungie fix this? Well, there actually is a load zone for this zone, through nightmare hunts. I actually don't know how easy this would be to implement, but if Bungie tries this again, which as a side note, I kind of enjoy the Seraph towers when there's enough people, so I would like to see them try this again and this could be useful feedback. Now to Io, which actually has the complete opposite problem. Io can be directly loaded into, however, Io has a ton of content stuffed into the area with the tower that can alternatively be loaded into. I have sat at the seraph tower at Io with a blue berry to witness these events.

- Someone just sparrows into the bunker.

- Three guardians show up, only to go into one of the two strikes in the area. (also, you can error code cabbage people with the towers)

- Talk to Asher Mir for five minutes then leave,

- And in a funny little moment, someone was doing the world quest on Io, which requires you to go to the top of the Pyramidion.

How could this be fixed. This ones a bit more difficult, because this involves the instancing of destiny. I thought of making strikes load into their own little bubble out of patrol instancing. However, the one thing I thought of, is that you can select the seraph tower as an objective. What if, for not just Seraph tower, but any public event, escalation protocol, blind well instance, selecting the activity would activate a boolean that would match make you with players with that same objective marked. Once again, I don't know if this can be fixed, but I honestly think the matchmaking is the biggest issue with the Seraph tower, not quality of content. Cause summoning frames to fight for you, yeeting javelins, balls and the sheer chaos of the event makes it enjoyable when you have the amount of people to tame it, there's just a consistent inadequacy in the number of players in an instance. The EDZ zone is pretty much just the Seraph tower there, with a single load zone, making it easy to reload, and you don't have to worry about the people loading in running off top another activity.

So to conclude with some bullet points.

- zones without loading points tend to see lower player counts. (Moon)

- zones that have too many activities in them will also see lower player counts. (Io)

- zones that have a load zone and one activity in them will see more direct player involvement. (EDZ)
